Everybody knows that it’s been a very long, very hot, and very dry summer across most of the US. Over the past few weeks we’ve finally started to get a little rain in Wisconsin again. We’re still well behind the average rainfall, but some of the lawns, flowers and other plants in the neighborhood are looking a little better than they were at the end of July. After a couple of recent showers I enjoyed walking around looking at the raindrops on the plants. It made me wonder if the plants feel better now. Can they smile? I’m not sure but they sure look happier to me.
